Explore the spectacular world of Vatnajökull Glacier on this guided glacier hike and ice caving tour. The tour starts in Skaftafell and from there you will go to Falljökull glacier tounge. You will hike through the rugged ice landscape to the mystical world of the ice cave where we will spend about an hour exploring before hiking back. Daily departures from November to March.

Information

  • Minimum age is 10 years.
  • Please note that glaciers are always changing and as do ice caves. One ice cave will be visited during the tour and will the choice of a cave be based on conditions and safety.
  • A hotel pick-up is not available for this particular tour, you must arrange your transportation to the meeting point in Skaftafell.
