Itinerary

Day 1: 11 August - Snæfellsnes Peninsula

Begin your adventure on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula by driving from Reykjavík or Keflavík. Spend the day exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, known for its diverse landscapes and small coastal villages. The area offers highlights such as Mt. Kirkjufell and Kirkjufellsfoss, the black church at Búðir, the cliffs of Arnarstapi, and the glacier-capped Snæfellsjökull. You'll stay overnight in the region.

Day 2: 12 August - Solar Eclipse Day

On August 12, 2026, enjoy the rare opportunity to view a total solar eclipse from the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The area offers a variety of scenic spots for viewing, including coastal cliffs, beaches, and open lava fields. You'll have time to explore more of the region before settling in for the night. 

Day 3: 13 August - Departure or Optional, Post-package

On your final day of the package, you may choose to conclude your journey in Iceland after this magical experience by heading to the airport, or you can extend your stay with an extra night in Reykjavík.
