Day 1 | Arrival & Welcome Dinner
Thursday - 15 October | (D)
Upon arrival at Keflavík international airport, Hey Iceland will handle the transfers (approximately 50 minutes) to the Berjaya Reykjavík Natura Hotel for 4 nights stay over the GA weekend.
A Reykjavik Original, the Reykjavik Natura Hotel embraces its legacy - its distinctly Icelandic roots, including works from local artists. The hotel offers impressive conference and meeting facilities suitable for small meetings and events, as well as larger conferences, exhibitions and presentations. The city center is within easy reach; just a few minutes away by car or bus or approximately a 25-minute walk. Welcome drink and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 | GA Conference
Friday - 16 October | (B/L/D)
Full day GA conference, with coffee breaks and lunch at the hotel.
After lunch, before the GA resumes, a representative from the Icelandic Farmers Association will present a brief lecture on agriculture in Iceland. Dinner at a city center restaurant.

Day 3 | Golden Circle Agriculture Tour
Saturday - 17 October | 290 km | (B/L/D)
Today we´ll embark on the renowned “Golden Circle” tour, featuring Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot spring area. We also explore the region´s rich agricultural heritage, as it is one of Iceland´s largest farming areas.
Our first stop is Þingvellir National Park where we go for a historical and geological walk and visit their interactive exhibition. Next, we will head to Friðheimar farm (greenhouses and horses) and get to learn how natural sources are used in year-round cultivation in those greenhouses as well as enjoying lunch at their greenhouse restaurant, sampling their specialty, tomato soup.
Another horticulture visit in this area is planned for us at Espiflöt farm, managed by the third generation of the same family, specializing in cut flowers -the largest operation of its kind in Iceland. After a short drive, we will arrive at Efstidalur farm (cattle & dairy) for a visit/introduction and a taste of their ice-cream.
Our next stops are the popular Geysir hot spring area, where the Strokkur geysir erupts every 5-10 minutes, and Gullfoss waterfall, Iceland´s most famous waterfall.
We will visit Gunnbjarnarholt farm, where the family sells milk and other dairy products directly to customers under their own brand Hreppamjólk.
We will end our day with dinner at Ingólfsskáli viking Restaurant before heading back to Reykjavík. Estimated arrival back at the hotel at 22:30.

Day 4 | GA, Reykjavík Sightseeing & Farewell dinner
Sunday - 18 October (B/L/D) 
Morning GA conference.
At 12:30, we will depart for Perlan where we will enjoy lunch with a stunning view over the city and a visit to their exhibitions. Short city tour including a walk in the city center, after which guests can return to the hotel or stay in the city center on their own.
At 16:30 transfer from the city center to the hotel.
19:15 transfer for our farewell dinner at Primavera restaurant located on the 4th floor at Harpa Concert Hall by the harbour. Entertainment from a local folk-dance club (and dance lessons for those interested).

Day 5 | Departures
Monday - 19 October | (B)
Hey Iceland arranges airport transfer to match each guest´s departing flight. This means departing from Reykjavík approx. 3 - 3,5 hrs before the the flight, ensuring arrival at the airport 2-2,5 hrs before departure.
Note: breakfast is served from 07:00, if your departure from the hotel is before that, you will receive a light breakfast package to take with you.
