Description: This trip will take you kayaking on the serene and beautiful Hvalfjörður fjord. This deep fjord is framed in by mountains that stretch from the sea up to more than 1000 meters. The kayaks are stable and easy to use. You do not need prior experience since your guide will teach you the technique on location. you will paddle along the coast and enjoy the magnificent views of the North-Atlantic ocean, the surrounding mountains an countryside. Then we take to shore and relax in the quiet icelandic countryside.

Included: Sea kayaking, sea kayaking gear (wetsuit, splash jacket and footwear) and packed lunch.

Tranfer is optional from the Arctic Adventures main office at Laugavegur 11.
Bring with you: Warm undergarment clothing (fleece/wool sweater and pants), bathing suit, towel and change of clothing.
 
Departure: 15th of May -15th of September (depending on the weather).
Guaranteed departures: Reykjavík pick-up: Mondays, Tuesdays,Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays,  at 9:00-9:30 am and 10:00 am from Hvammsvík.
 
Duration: 3 hours, 6 hours w/pick-up.
 
Limitations: Minimum 2 persons (Mon & Thur), 4 persons other days.
Age limit is 16 years.
 
Location: Hvammsvík in Hvalfjörður (50 km from Reykjavík)
