Itinerary 
A suggested itinerary is included and delivered upon arrival. The itinerary suggests a route for each day and includes information on interesting places to visit.

Arrival day
 
Guests are met upon arriva

at Keflavik international airport and
driven to their hotel in Reykjavik.
Accommodation in Reykjavík
(optional and not included in tour price).
 
 
Day 1 |
 The South – Gullfoss, Geysir, Þingvellir

Places of interest: Þingvellir National Park, 
Kerið, a 3000 year explosion crater.
Gullfoss waterfall. Geysir hot spring. Skálholt cathedral.
Accommodation in Gullfoss Geysir area.
 
 
Day 2 |
 The South – Vík, Kirkjubæjarklaustur
 
Places of interest: Seljalandsfoss waterfall.
Skógar with its magnificent waterfall and
i
nteresting folk museum. Vík in Mýrdalur,
Dyrhólaey, a 120 m high cape. Kirkjubæjarklaustur.
Accommodation in Kirkjubæjarklaustur area.
 
 
Day 3 |
 The Southeast – Skaftafell, Vatnajökull, Höfn
 
Places of interest: Skaftafell National Park.
Interesting tours to Cape Ingólfshöfði on hay wagon.
The glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón. The Vatnajökull glacier,
tours on the glacier on offer if booked in advance.
Fishing village Höfn.
Accommodation in Höfn area.
 
 
Day 4 |
 The East – Egilsstaðir, East fjords

Places of interest: Great scenery of tall and
uniquely formed mountains en route towards the East.
A unique stone collection in Stöðvarfjörður village.
The Lagarfljót River where the sea serpent
“Lagarfljótsormur”allegedly lives.

Day 5 and 6 | 
Mývatn area

Places of interest: The Jökulsárgljúfur National Park.
Ásbyrgi. Hljóðaklettar (Echo rocks).Dettifoss waterfall.
Whale watching from Húsavík town.
The geothermal area at Námafjall. Dimmuborgir.
Lake Mývatn is one of the pearls of Icelandic nature
and rich in both bird and plant life.
Goðafoss waterfall.
Accommodation in Mývatn/Húsavík area.
 
 
Day 7 |
 Akureyri
 
Places of interest: Akureyri town – the capital of the North.
Accommodation in Akureyri area.
 
 
Day 8 | 
Skagafjörður, The West

Places of interest: Skagafjörður,
a district renowned for its horse breeding,
farmhouse museum at Glaumbær and
old turf church at Víðimýri.
Þingeyrar church, one of the most
beautiful churches in Iceland.
Accommodation in Hólmavík area.
 
 
Day 9 |
  The West, Hólmavík Ísafjörður

Places of interest: On the coast of North Atlantic
you can see Seabirds and Seals abound.
In Ísafjörður are some of the oldest buildings in Iceland.

Day 10 |
  The West, Dynjandifoss-Barðaströnd

Places of interest: The Vestfjords are simply breathtaking.
Látrabjarg cliff is the westernmost point in Europe
where you can see hundreds of seabirds nest.

Day 11 and 12 |
 The Snæfellsnes peninsula, Breiðafjörður
 
Places of interest: The Breiðafjörður Bay,
boat excursions amongst the many islands.
The fishing villages on the northern coast of
Snæfellsnes peninsula.  Snæfellsjökull glacier.
Arnarstapi. Fantastic bird life. The Eldborg crater.
Accommodation in Snæfellsnes area.
 
 
Day 13 |
 Borgarfjörður, Reykholt

Places of interest: Borgarfjörður district. 
Hraunfossar waterfalls. Reykholt.
Borgarfjörður is the site of one
of the most popular Icelandic sagas, Egla.
