Gain a unique insight into greenhouse horticulture and the use of geothermal heating in Iceland with a visit to Friðheimar. Enjoy the special experience of entering a greenhouse filled with fragrant tomato plants and learning about the innovative cultivation methods used on site.

Guests can choose to dine in the greenhouse restaurant, where Friðheimar’s famous tomato-based dishes—such as their well-known tomato soup served with freshly baked bread—are available for purchase, surrounded by the plants themselves. You might even like to try a glass of tomato schnapps!

Greenhouse restaurant is open for single visits. Minimum 10 people for guided tour of the greenhouses and minimum 15 people for the horse show. Open from 12:00 - 16:00 all days.

Available all year upon request for groups. Please book in advance.

The visitor centre and restaurant is open for individuals daily all year between 12:00 and 16:00. Possible to view the greenhouse and sit down for a tomato soup and dessert.
