Day 1.  Reykjavík
Guests are met upon arrival
and
taken to the car rental in Reykjavik
where they pick up the car.
An access to Laugar Spa is included in the package.
Indulce in geothermal brine baths,
steam baths and a cozy relaxation area with fireplace.
Then Party in Reykjavik. Your party could be
a visit to one of the many dance clubs or bars
or you could walk around in the charming old town Reykjavik

Day 2. The South
Ca. 250 km travelled.
Places of interest: Þingvellir National Park.
Visit Geysir hot spring area,
with its fabulous Strokkur. Gullfoss waterfall.
Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The magnificent waterfall and
the folk museum at Skógar.  Dyrhólaey. Reynisfjörur.

Day 3. The Southeast.
Ca. 270 km travelled.
Places of interest: Skaftafell National Park.
Boat trip on the glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón.
The Vatnajökull glacier, various types of glacier tours
are on offer if booked in advance.

Day 4. The East coast.
Ca.  250 km travelled.
Places of interest: Great view of tall and
often uniquely formed mountains on route to the East fjords.
The fjords with their dramatic mountains
and quaint fishing villages.

Day 5.  Lake Mývatn area.
Ca. 240 km travelled.
Places of  interest: Lake Mývatn. Höfði. 
Go Whale watching in Húsavík.  Dimmuborgir.
Hike across lava fields to see boiling mud pots in Krafla area.
Goðafoss (Waterfall of the Gods).
Accommodation in Mývatn area.
 
 
Day 6.  Akureyri.
Ca. 210 km travelled.
Places of interest: Akureyri town.
Skagafjörður district. The farmhouse museum in Glaumbær.
The old turf church at Víðimýri. Vatnsdalshólar.
Go horse riding in Skagafjörður, a famous area for horse breeding.
Accommodation in Hrútafjörður/Skagafjörður area.
 
 
Day 7.  The North and the Southwest.
Ca.  200 km travelled.
Places of interest: The lovely Borgarfjörður district.
Climbing the old crater Grábrók.
Borgarnes – the site of one of the most popular
Icelandic sagas, Egla.
Dine in one of the Gourmet restaurants in Reykjavík,
praised by international media.

Day 8.  Reykjavik, Blue Lagoon.
Ca. 100 km travelled.
Visit one of the many outdoor swimming pools
heated by natural hot water in Reykjavík.
Buy the famous Lopi sweater and visit the Blue Lagoon.
