Day 1. Reykjavík -Whale watching – Þingvellir – Gullfoss waterfallGullfoss – Geysir.
The tour sets off from Reykjavík. Guests will be picked up between 07:45 -  08.45. We start by a 3 hrs whale watching tour from Reykjavik.  After lunch break we head to Þingvellir National Park, the site of the ancient parliament and Iceland’s most renowned beauty spot. We will spend some time there walking around the area. From Þingvellir we head to Gullfoss "the golden waterfall" and the famous Geysir. 
Overnight in a farm guesthouse in the area.     

Day 2. Borgarfjörður - Snæfellsnes
Today we head west towards the Snæfellsnes peninsula, an area known for its great natural beauty with the majestic Snæfellsjökull glacier reaching the sky. We drive to the village of Borgarnes and on the way we will see the hot springs at Deildartunguhver and waterfalls Hraunfossar before continuing on to the peninsula itself.

Day 3. Snæfellsnes- SkagafjörðurIcelandic horses
We drive along the South coast of the Snæfellsjökull peninsula to its most western point where we turn northwards circling the Snæfellsjökull glacier. We stop at the picturesque village of Arnarstapi where we walk along the sea cliffs. On our way we will see the unique  Lóndrangar cliffs (75m & 61m high) and walk in the bay at Djúpalónssandur. We pass fishing villages Hellissandur and Ólafsvík before continuing north to Skagafjörður.

Day 4. Skagafjörður - Mývatn
We spend the morning in Skagafjörður before continuing to Akureyri. Skagafjörður area is renown for horse breeding and we will have the opportunity to see a few of the best horses in a great show. We visit the farmhouse museum in Glaumbær and then cross Öxnadalsheiði into Akureyri, the largest town of the North. We will have the afternoon at leisure in Akureyri and in the late afternoon our last visit will be at Goðafoss "Waterfall of the Gods".  Lake Mývatn

Day 5. Jökulsárgljúfur National Park
We will spend the day in Jökulársgljúfur National Park. We will start by driving to the powerful waterfall Dettifoss. An unforgettable experience. We will go to Ásbyrgi, the horseshoe-shaped canyon, reputedly the hoof print of Odin’s horse, Sleipnir. Then we will walk in Hljóðaklettar and experience the strange acoustics of the rocks. After that we drive westwards via Tjörnes through Húsavík village.
Return to our overnight in the Reykjadalur area.

Day 6. Mývatn - Egilsstaðir
We spend the day exploring the wonders of Lake Mývatn, one of the pearls of Icelandic nature. We walk in Dimmuborgir with its strange rock formations, explore the hot spring area Námaskarð and the pseudo craters at Skútustaðir.  We then head to eastern Iceland.
Overnight in the Egilsstaðir area. 

Day 7. Egilsstaðir – Vatnajökull - Höfn
Today we will travel through East Iceland. This is an area known for its variety of stones. On the way down to Höfn in Hornafjörður we have a magnificent view over the biggest glacier in Iceland, Vatnajökull.

Day 8. Jökulsárlón – Skaftafell - Kirkjubæjarklaustur
Our first stop is at Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon where it is possible to go on a boat trip between the drift ice. Then we continue to Skaftafell National Park, where we spend some time walking with glaciers in the background. From Skaftafell we drive over the sands to Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Day 9. Kirkjubæjarklaustur – Dyrhólaey     
From Kirkjubæjarklaustur we head west over Mýrdalssandur to the village of Vík in Mýrdalur. We stop by Dyrhólaey cliff, which is a paradise for birdwatchers. We will see Skógar and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls.

Day 10. Landmannalaugar   Landmannalaugar            
Today we visit the interior and the destination is Landmannalaugar with its many colored mountains and the possibility to bathe in natural warm springs. On the way we drive through Þjórsárdalur valley, which has been devastated several times by eruptions of the Hekla volcano. Last stop by a beautiful small waterfall in the area.

Day 11. Blue Lagoon - Reykjavík
Today we spend sightseeing in the south and visit small villages Stokkseyri and Eyrarbakki. We then go for a relaxing bath in the mineral rich waters of the Blue Lagoon. Arrival in Reykjavík in the afternoonn.
