Day 1 | Westfjords

Morning pick-up in Reykjavik and transfer through the beautiful landscapes of West Iceland to Heydalur Valley in the Westfjords. Visit attractions enroute; this could include the Settlement Centre at Borgarnes and a stop at a hot spring and waterfall in Borgarfjörður. Total transfer time is 6-7 hrs including stops. Enjoy a dinner at Heydalur in the evening and afterwards relax in a natural hot spring pool. Possibility of seeing the northern lights if skies are clear.
 
 

Day 2 | Fishing tour, northern lights search

After breakfast enjoy a guided fishing tour; dependent on the weather this will either be by snowmobile or jeep. The search for the northern lights begins after a 3-course evening meal.  
 

Day 3 | Excursion, northern lights search

Following breakfast, a morning excursion in the beautiful landscape around Heydalur. Afternoon is free time; perhaps take a walk or bathe in the local hot spring pool. After dinner keep an eye out for the magical aurora borealis.
 
 

Day 4 | Ísafjörður

Guests have the choice of a trip to Ísafjörður town or activities at Heydalur.
 
 

Day 5 | Hólmavík, Reykjavík

The return transfer to Reykjavik commences after breakfast. Enroute stop for a short while in Hólmavík, where guests can visit the Museum of Witchcraft.
