to their hotel in Reykjavík.

Day 1 | The Golden Circle – the Southwest
Places of interest: The 'Golden Circle' area which encompasses three of the best known sites in Iceland - Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall and the Geysir hot spring area.
Accommodation in Gullfoss, Geysir area.
Day 2 | Borgarfjörður – West Iceland
Places of interest: Historic area - the site of one of the most popular Icelandic Saga’s, Egil's Saga.
Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls. Deildartunguhver hot spring. Settlement Center in Borgarnes.
Historic Reykholt.
Accommodation in Borgarfjörður area.
Days 3 and 4 | – The Westfjords
Places of interest: Eiríksstaðir Living Musem - reconstruction of a Viking-age longhouse and likely birthplace of Leifur Eiríksson,
the first European to set foot in North America in the year 1,000 AD.
Accommodation in Farm Heydalur in Mjóifjörður for two nights.
Possibilities for sea kayaking, horse riding, natural hot spring bathing and marked walking trails.
Day 5 | The Westfjords
Places of interest: Ísafjörður town with its superb fjord scenery.
Boat tour to Vigur Island, Hesteyri and Grunnavík possible.
Accommodation near Flateyri.
Day 6 | The Westfjords
Places of interest: Dynjandi one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls.
The Museum at Hrafnseyri. Fishing villages Þingeyri and Patreksfjörður.
Látrabjarg, the westernmost point and one of three largest bird cliffs in Europe, home to millions of breeding puffins and other seabirds.

Day 7 | Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Places of interest: Ferry Baldur (fare not included) via Flatey Island
to the beautiful Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Snæfellsjökull National Park. Snæfellsjökull Glacier. Arnarstapi fishing village. Djúpalónssandur beach. Búðir church.

Day 8 | Reykjavík
Head back to Reykjavík for your last overnight. The city offers a unique charm with excellent restaurants, shops featuring unique Icelandic design, interesting museums, a vibrant music scene and energetic nightlife.
