Visit the fascinating Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft in Hólmavík. Drive along the scenic Strandir coast and stop by Hotel Laugarhóll where you can relax in the outdoor natural hot spring pool.

Drive across Steingrímsfjarðarheiði heath and along the coast heading towards Ísafjörður town with its towering surrounding mountains. Keep your eyes open for dolphins which can sometimes be spotted. Stop by farm Heydalur for activities such as fishing, kayaking or horse riding. Ísafjörður has one of the best preserved clusters of 18th century houses in Iceland which once belonged to Danish merchants.

Drive across mountain ridges and beautiful fjords on your way to Látrabjarg. Admire the spectacular waterfall Dynjandi along the way and make stops in the villages of Flateyri and Þingeyri. Make sure you have your camera ready for the magnificent birdlife at Látrabjarg Cliff which is also the westernmost point in Iceland.

Walk along the breathtaking white sand beach Rauðisandur and take a dip in the small natural hot spring pool Hellulaug near Flókalundur, tucked away under a rock right on the beach with an amazing view towards the sea.
