Day 1

Start your photography workshop at Eyjabakkar, Iceland’s second-largest wetland area, also one of the largest nesting places in the world for the pink-footed goose. You will get spectacular views of Mount Snæfell, Iceland’s highest free-standing mountain and Eyjabakkajökull Glacier. You might also spot the elusive Arctic fox on its hunting grounds!

Day 2

Today, your guide will help you capture the majestic reindeer in its natural habitat. Brought to Iceland from Norway in the late 18th century, wild reindeer herds are now only found in the East where they roam the highlands North of the Vatnajökull Glacier. They make fantastic subjects in wild landscapes. Press the shutter!

Day 3

This morning, the adventure continues as you explore the banks of the Jökulsá river dotted with a series of beautiful waterfalls. Be inspired by the canyons and native birch woodland, Kleifarskogur. At the end of the day, unwind your trip in the natural hot springs of Laugarfell. You know you’ve deserved it!

Day 4

Travel in time today as you visit farmers still housing livestock the traditional way in old turf buildings, in the magical settings of Lake Lagarfljót. Learn about Iceland’s stone cairns, remnants of a bygone age meant to progressively disappear due to weather conditions.

Day 5

Explore the coastline close to the farm of Húsey, where over thirty bird species breed. Seals can often be seen basking in the sun, playing in water, or simply starring at you. Take in the beauty of Héraðsflói bay, from its open vastness to the spectacular mountains range in the distance.

Your guide will drop you off at Egilsstaðir Airport in the evening. Relive your journey at home by editing your photos!
