Your real Icelandic adventure begins with a dog ride. Feel the power, excitement, and energy of the amazing sled dogs as they are harnessed to the comfortable wheeled sleds. Enjoy being towed by a group of dogs guided by a trained Musher. You will also get to visit the dog kennel and meet the pack for a photo opportunity and a cuddle or two. Share the Musher’s passion for sledding as he introduces you to the dogs and provides you with information about them. Not suitable during pregnancy. Weight limit of 95 kg and BMI 30. Available all year.

Directions from Reykjavík (75 min)

Drive the highway to the south coast (direction Vík, Hella, Selfoss) Road 1

Take the right exit onto Road 39 (Þrengslavegur), following the direction of Eyrabakki.

Follow the road until you make a left turn on Road 33 (Gaulverjabæjarvegur) direction of Stokkseyri.

Make a right turn on Road 305 (Villingaholtshreppur) and drive exactly 10 km until you reach our farm Hólmasel on your right.
